Here you will find information on our intrepid band of heroes. Our back-stories are deliberately lightweight (this is the OSR, after all). All characters started at 1st level, and are young adult humans from the small, rural town of Ragged Hollow (thank you, Merry Mushmen)! As young folks who have grown up together in the same small town they all know each other way too well. Let’s meet the gang:
Gledwriq (DR1) Player: Matt Shy. Inscrutable. Enigmatic. Talks to birds. Does not do well in places with walls. Or people.
Jinx (MU1) Player: Vikki Smart. Pretty. Annoying. But mainly smart. And pretty annoying. Knows magic! Foolishly brave at times.
Percius (F1) Player: Melvin Diplomatic. Charming. Sensible. Probably the leader (?). Leads from the front. Will go far (may die trying).
Brode (F1) Player: Mitch Wholesome. Muscular. Sunny disposition. Somehow related to most people in the town of Ragged Hollow. The party’s rear guard!
Kelza (TH1) Player: Kelly Daring. Foolhardy. Willing to squeeze into dangerous places for minimal monetary gain. Keep your coin pouches and religious icons where you can see them. I mean at all times.
Alma (C1) - DECEASED Player: NPC Cousin to Brode (I mentioned he is related to most local people, right…?), Alma was a rising light in the local temple community, an acolyte of The One True God (OTG), and the pure, beating heart of the group. For about a session and a half. She tragically died when a kobold pushed her into a pool of carnivorous fish (yikes)! Then her body vanished. Then she mysteriously came back to help the party in a massive fight with some ugly gargoyles and unruly stained glass window angels! Then she died again. And then she vanished. Again. Confused?
